According to the published study, researchers showed participants an ad featuring Bugs at Disneyland. And some thought they met Bugs–who is really at Magic Moutain.
Does this mean that therapists can plant false memories of sexual abuse in their clients? Or do they first have to show the client a photo of the client being molested as a child?
