At the AFI Lifetime Achievement Awards in 2006 for Sean Connery, George Lucas made some use of slides to literally add some thoughts to his speech.

AFI did a great thing:

I noticed that they took down videos from the AFI Lifetime Achievement Awards. But instead of suing everybody, they created a channel themselves and added the videos with a better quality.

After being reminded of the following quote by Randy Pausch, I knew what kind of speech has to come next:
