Spoken Gems

This might be interesting since election day is coming up. With an energetic style, journalist for the BBC and author of the book "Armed Madhouse" Greg Palast, speaks about manipulations of the 2004 election.

This video is the perfect transition from politics to some more entertaining speeches. Tina Fey returned to SNL to impersonate Sarah Palin.

The "Rally for the Republic" was far more interesting to watch than the other two conventions (though I strongly disagree with some speakers on some issues). All speeches were in some kind unique. And I didn’t see any teleprompter.

From the following list I recommend the speeches from Bruce Fein, Adam Kokesh, Gary Johnson and Erik Vendt.

  This is one of the most eloquent speakers of all three conventions.

  I would ask all of you, with the time remaining here, to go out and adopt a Republican.

  A powerful speech from a young gifted speaker.

  Be warned, this is the president of the John Birch Society.

And finally the man who started the Revolution: Ron Paul at the "Rally for the Republic". As always, he isn’t the greatest speaker, but it’s the content which is impressive.

My favorite quote from this speech given by Dr Thomas Woods Jr is his first statement:

Ladies and Gentlemen, how much more fun are we going to have than those poor souls stuck at that snorefest down the street.

And it doesn’t get boring.
