Stephen Colbert: White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner

I decided to go with a topic for this week. Brave speeches.

The first one is the roast I mentioned in the Craig Ferguson post: Stephen Colbert speaking at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in 2006.

Stephen Fry: The BBC and the future of Public Service Broadcasting

BBC started a lecture series about the future of public service broadcasting some weeks ago. The first lecture was given by Sir David Attenborough. This one is given by Stephen Fry, comedian and broadcaster. If you don’t know him, he had a comedy show with Hugh Laurie (House M.D.), called "A Bit of Fry and Laurie". Even if you’re not a familiar with the BBC, it’s worth watching:

Craig Ferguson: White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner 2008

This year at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner Craig Ferguson, host of the "Late Late Show" and American citizen since February 2008, had the honor to roast.

Not as brave as Stephen Colbert, but still pretty funny.
